Dr. Pierluigi Coli is a registered specialist in Periodontology as well as Prosthodontics. Dr. Coli worked as Guest Researcher at the Karolinska Institute, Stockholm, Sweden. He was awarded a PhD in Prosthetic Dentistry and Oral Material Sciences from the Goteborg University in 1999, and became Assistant Professor in Prosthetics Dentistry at Göteborg University. He has been at Edinburgh Dental Specialists since 2006.

Dr Chris Millen worked as a Consultant and Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer in Restorative Dentistry at the Edinburgh Dental Institute between 2015 and 2023. He is experienced in the multidisciplinary oral rehabilitation of patients using complex prosthodontic and implant techniques. He teaches future specialists in restorative dentistry and is experienced at mentoring other dentists. His interests lie in all aspects of restorative dentistry, focusing on prosthodontics (replacement of missing teeth), periodontics (gums and tissues surrounding the teeth) and implantology.
Chris has been at Edinburgh Dental Specialists since 2015.

Ahmed is a registered specialist in Prosthodontics. He has extensive experience in the treatment of advanced tooth wear, full mouth rehabilitation, replacing missing teeth, as well as the management of patients with congenitally missing teeth. In addition, he worked as a Senior Clinical Teaching Fellow at Leeds University Dental School. He played an active role in the training of their undergraduate and postgraduate dentists.

She offers a full oral surgery service including high risk wisdom teeth, cysts and biopsies, and is also able to provide dental implants and treatment under intravenous sedation for nervous patients.

Dr. Maria Brincat is a dentist with a special interest in Periodontology. She graduated in Malta in 2001. She went on to obtain her MFDS in Glasgow in 2004. She worked and is still teaching at Glasgow Dental Hospital and School where she supervises undergraduate students in periodontics. She has since completed a Masters in Restorative Dentistry at Warwick University in 2020, with the main focus being periodontology.
She has been at Edinburgh Dental Specialists since 2018.

I am delighted to have been appointed as one of the Specialist Endodontists at Edinburgh Dental Specialists. I have been a very frequent visitor to the fabulous city of Edinburgh for a long as I can remember, and now to be working here feels like a dream come true! I qualified from the Queen's University, Belfast in 1993 with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and distinction in the Practice of Dentistry. I gained my MFGDP from the Royal College of Surgeons (UK) in 1998, my MSc in Endodontic Practice from the Royal London Dental Hospital in 2012 and my Membership in Endodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh in 2016.
