Our Prosthodontists |
With only 400 prosthodontists registered in the UK we are extremely fortunate to have 5 working in the practice. Within the 5 prosthodontists there is a huge wealth of experience and knowledge, training pathways have been carried out internationally (Sweden, Switzerland, Italy and Canada) as well through UK dental hospitals and general practice.
The prosthodontists primary role is in working with your patient to create a treatment plan which meets your and their requirements. Once a plan has been agreed on the prosthodontists will enlist the service of any other specialists necessary, provide the restorative skills where required and ultimately be responsible for overseeing all treatment that is carried out.
Please refer to one of the prosthodontists if your patient requires:
- Cosmetic / aesthetic treatment
- Dental implant treatment
- Comprehensive rehabilitiation
- Complete and partial denture provision
- TMJ and occlusal treatment
We aim for all the prosthodontists to provide treatment to a similar standard. Certain prosthodontists in the team have developed additional interests and expertise in specific areas. On referral of a suitable patient we would advise you of this and help your patient achieve the correct consultation. If you are unsure about which prosthodontist to refer to, include as much information about your patients problem as possible and we will ensure that the correct appointment is made.
