Specialist Services > Prosthodontics > Comprehensive Rehab
Full mouth rehabilitation is the area in which, we as a multidisciplinary practice, excel.

Heavily broken down, extensively restored mouths often need the services of more than one specialist to achieve long term predictable health.

Uniquely we can provide all of the services necessary in a united team of specialists under one roof.

The “team leader” in this situation is generally the prosthodontist. The most challenging aspect of a full mouth rehabilitation is planning exactly how to achieve the desired end result resolving many problems when many solutions are possible, and doing all this within your patients budget. For example,

  • Which teeth to save, which to lose?
  • Predictability of existing restorations?
  • Will endodontically treating a tooth provide a long term restorative solution?
  • Whether to accept the exist OVD or to open?
  • How to achieve occlusal stability
  • Periodontal stability – maintain, extract or replace with implants?
  • Is it possible to achieve an acceptable aesthetic result with the remaining teeth?
  • Accept or extract retained roots, graft or let heal?
  • Is orthodontics a better option in this case?
  • What are the possibilities for orthognathic surgery?

Having expertise in all areas means that your patients’ treatment options are not limited.

Having agreed a plan, the prosthodontist is the point of contact throughout treatment and if necessary they will adapt and change the plan as it proceeds.

If you have any concerns or wish to discuss your patients progress during treatment it is the prosthodontist you should contact. If you wish to discuss specific patients prior to referral then either telephone one of the prosthodontists directly or e-mail, we always pleased to speak to practitioners about helping their patients.
